Classic Sugar Cookie

Additional Ingredients:

Cookie:

• ½ cup butter (softened)

• 1 lg. egg

• 1 ½ tbsp. milk

• ¼ tsp. vanilla

Glaze:

• 5 – 6 tsp. water

• Flavoring, coloring, decorations (optional)

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F. Remove icing sugar from jar. In a mixing bowl beat the butter then add egg, milk and vanilla, mix well. Add remaining ingredients from jar, mix well. Form into ball, roll out on lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes.

Bake 8 minutes.

Glaze: Mix icing sugar with water and optional ingredients, adding more water if needed to make a barely pourable glaze.

Dip cookies, set aside to set.
